Mini Dental Implants in Tampa, FL

Mini dental implants are smaller in diameter compared to traditional dental implants. They are made of the same biocompatible materials and have similar structures, but their smaller size makes them an ideal solution for patients with insufficient bone density or who require stabilization of their existing dentures.

The procedure to place mini dental implants is minimally invasive and requires only a local anesthetic. The implants are then screwed into the jawbone and serve as anchors for dental prosthetics such as crowns or a denture.

Mini dental implants offer patients a cost-effective and less-invasive solution to traditional implants and can be used to support lower dentures, which can often be unstable and painful. They can be used for both upper and lower jaw. Overall, mini dental implants provide a comfortable and reliable alternative for patients seeking to restore their smile, confidence and oral health. However, they are not appropriate for all cases, and it is important to consult with a qualified dental professional to determine the best treatment options for each individual case.

Benefits of Mini Dental Implants

  • Less invasive – Mini implants require a less invasive procedure and can often be placed in a single appointment.
  • Quicker healing time – Since the procedure is less invasive, healing time is faster and there is less discomfort.
  • More affordable – Mini implants are more affordable than traditional implants, making them a great option for those on a budget.
  • Can be used for difficult cases – Mini implants can be used in cases where traditional implants are not possible due to a lack of bone density in the jaw, making them a great alternative.
  • Improved stability – Mini implants provide improved stability for dentures and prevent them from slipping or moving around in the mouth.
